We would like to present case studies of doctors who are currently using our services and how it has helped them save taxes and get prompt payments at ease.

Scenario - I: One of our doctors is a full time locum working almost 6 days at a stretch. It was always a hassle for him to keep a track of his expenses which involved receipts and most of the times forgot to mention them. His hectic schedule also involved a lot of travelling which left him with little time to efficiently record and retain the receipts.

Resolution: We had a very simple solution for him. We informed the doctor that we will send him a prepaid envelope addressed to Locums Limited, in which he could keep all the receipts and post it to us once he finishes his locum. We suggested him to call us after he has posted us the receipts and speak to us for 5 minutes so we could help him fill out the expense claim form. The doctor was extremely pleased as it allowed him to focus in doing locums and dump all his receipts in our envelope and post it to us for free.

Scenario - II: A doctor has been doing full time job with the NHS and does locums during the weekends since last couple of years. His busy schedule left him barely any time to look in to his tax savings and national insurance contributions. While explaining our services to the doctor we realised that he was unaware that he can offset his legitimate expenses against his income from temporary work and that he was making higher contributions towards Employee’s NI.

Resolution: We explained to the doctor about how much Employee’s NI he was paying in full time NHS job and locums. We informed the doctor about Employee’s NI deferment. We helped the doctor claim the overpaid NI by guiding the doctor to fill in the HMRC forms. Doctor is still grateful to us for helping him not just saving Employee’s NI but also get a refund of excess NI paid during the previous years.
